Howdy friends and family of Texas A&M Crew! We have arrived at Oklahoma City Boathouse District! We're currently rerigging our boats to prepare for our races today.

The races are as follows:
12:30pm-- Open Women 8
1pm-- Open Men 4
1:10pm-- Novice Women 4
1:20pm-- Novice Men 8
4pm-- Open Men 8
4:40pm-- Novice Men 4
4:45pm-- Novice Women 8

Our Opens are also competing in Night Sprints, which are from 6-10.

Application Information

Hello!! It is that time of year again!

We have opened our application for new members for the team! We are currently requiring both new and returning members to fill out the application, so if you are a returning rower, make sure this is done by Saturday (9/10) at 5pm!

Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about the application process, our team, or anything else that may concern you. Please help spread the word and share our application to all that are interested!

The application will be available below, as well as on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/TexasAggieCrew). It will be due this Sunday (9/11) at 8pm for new rowers.

Welcome Back!

Hello Crew-mates, family members, and friends! Hope you have all had a fantastic summer and had a good first day back into the swing of things.

We have set most of the dates for the fall semester, and they are as follows:

September 6th at 6:30pm in Rec Rm 281: Informational (+ Taco Tuesday). For team members: No one is required to come to this (other than the officers), but you're welcome to come and meet prospective novices :)
September 7th at 8pm: Ice Cream Social at a team members house (please contact webmaster@crew.tamu.edu if interested). Please come and help us greet new potential members to our team!

Learn to Rows: September 10th at 7-10am (Saturday), September 11th at 2-5pm (Sunday). For team members: once again, you're not required to be here, but you should come out and help (as long as you have your AOR signed and approved)!

The application must be filled out by both returning members and new rowers, and must be completed and turned in by 8pm on September 11th. The link to the application will be posted to our Facebook page, as well as this website when we have it up and running.

Contract Night: September 13th at 6:30pm in Rec Rm 281. Everyone should be here and ready to pay their dues.

Novice Days: September 17th at 8-11am (Saturday), September 18th at 2-5pm (Sunday). For team members: the same rules for the ice cream social and the learn to rows apply here (please come, if you have an excuse, etc).

NG Bake Sale: November 12th (tentative)

Our first meeting (with all the new novices) will be September 27th at 6:30pm in Rec Rm 281. We will continue to have meetings every Tuesday before every regatta, and possibly more if the coaches and/or officers think we need one.

We are finally home! We had a very successful weekend in Oak Ridge at the SIRA Championship Regatta, with all of our boats making it all the way to semifinals and finals!

RESULTS:
Women's Novice 8: 3rd place in their finals with a time of 7:52.27
Women's Open 4: 2nd place in their finals with a time of 8:35.82
Men's Novice 8: 1st place in their finals with a time of 7:55.92
Men's Open 4: 4th place in their finals with a time of 7:48.78

SIRA Championship Regatta

Friends and family,

We have safely arrived in Oak Ridge, Tennessee for our final regatta of the year, the SIRA Championship Regatta! We compete tomorrow at the following times (EST):

9:45am: Women's Novice 8
10:00am: Men's Novice 8
10:50am: Women's Varsity 4
11:15am: Men's Varsity 4

Once we compete tomorrow, we will be put into heats to compete again, and hopefully move on to the finals on Sunday. We will keep this page updated with results!

Cookies for Kids

Howdy friends and family of Texas A&M Crew!  This Saturday and Sunday (April 1st and 2nd), we will be holding a bake sale in which all of the proceeds will go to St. Jude's Hospital. We know that many parents, family members, and alumni may not have access to this bake sale directly, so we have also added a donation option on our square website. Texas A&M did amazing at Heart of Texas and the team was even able to bring back some hardware for all their hard work!

Erg Rodeo

Texas A&M Crew will be heading to the University of Texas in Austin to compete in the annual erg competition, Erg Rodeo! The competition starts at 8 AM in the Gregory Gymnasium on Saturday February 13th. We hope to see you there as we try to earn our very own belt buckles!
