Meet The Officers
Howdy! My name is Sandra DalBello, and I’m currently the President of Texas A&M Crew and previously had the privilege of serving as one of the team’s Equipment Managers as well. Originally, from Houston, Texas, I joined the team my sophomore year here at A&M and can say without a doubt it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made because I’ve had the opportunity to learn, challenge myself, and meet some of my best friends! Outside of Crew, I’m a senior in the Dwight Look College of Engineering studying Industrial Distribution, and when I’m not practicing or studying, I can usually be found in the Corps of Cadets Housing Office, where I’m a student worker. Also, I enjoy cooking, backpacking, road trips, and spend my summers as a guide whitewater rafting on the Arkansas River.
My name is Kassie Stagner and I am a senior political science major, with minors in military studies and history. I've had the pleasure as serving as the Vice President of Texas A&M Crew for nearly two years! I have also had the opportunity to be both a rower and a coxswain on this team for the past three and a half years. I had no prior rowing experience (or knowledge, really) when I joined the team in 2015, so here is official proof that you can do it! Rowing has become one of the things I am incredibly passionate about at Texas A&M and I am so thankful to have found a sport I can continue once I graduate in May. In addition to Texas A&M Crew, I am the president of Aggie Shields, a member of the Legislative Relations Commission within the Student Government Association, and I work at for the Corps of Cadets. I am so thankful for the Crew team and to have found such a loving group of friends here!
Emily is a senior Spatial Sciences major with a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) minor. This is her fourth year as a member of the Texas A&M Rowing Team. Prior to learning the sport of rowing, Emily was a member of the varsity swim team for all four years of high school. Outside of crew she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her dog. Emily is also a member of Aggie Girl Scouts.
My name is Sarah McQuaid and I am a freshman Biomedical Engineering major. Prior to living in Texas, I grew up in Southern California and moved to Texas during high school. I have been horseback riding since before I took my first steps as a toddler, thanks to my horse training mom, and I am also a dancer and the occasional golfer when I visit my dad! Besides participating in sports and school, I love to read and play with my animals.
I joined Texas A&M Crew after walking past the booth at Open House and thought to myself, “how cool would it be if I joined the rowing team?” I had never rowed a day before in my life, but immediately fell in love with the sport and my team.
